As the New England institution continues to work out the model’s release cycle, it’s outfitting Steven Smith’s design in several compelling ensembles, with the latest being a “Reflection,” “Vintage Teal,” and “Dawn Glow” outfit exclusive to women.
As with other propositions from New Balance, the newly-released pair features premium suede and leather across its upper, bringing a lifestyle touch to the decades-old performance basketball offering. The majority of the sneaker’s top-half indulges in a soft grey tone, while contrasting green and yellow accents animate vamp areas, profile logos, tongue labels, and components around the heel. Underfoot, the story opts for a much more subdued tale, as sole units favor varying off white hues, allowing for the upper to revel in the spotlight.
