Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” Releasing On December 16th

Updated July 2nd, 2023: A release date is scheduled for December 16th, 2023 ($180).

We’re less than month into the year and yet we’re already catching wind of Holiday 2023 releases, from the return of the Air Jordan 11 “DMP” to the debut of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch.”

First revealed back in 2021 and subsequently worn on the court by the likes of Anthony Davis, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” was rumored to be seeing a retail release following its several appearances. And after two years of little to no information, @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles have confirmed that the colorway will finally be arriving right in time for Holiday 2023.

Based on the famed “Grinch” colorway, which made its return back in 2020, the “Reverse Grinch” takes the Dr. Seuss-inspired palette and flips it on its head. Bright reds now adorn the signature’s various scales, wrapping up the profile and through the midsole. Black Swooshes are then stamped onto the side, while the Kobe logo and signature see the same bright green shade as the adjacent laces.

For now, sit tight as we await further updates regarding the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch.” Official images and a firm release date are likely to be revealed closer to the Holiday season.
