“Royal Toe” Colorblocking Adds A Fresh Element To The New Balance 550

“Royal Toe” Colorblocking Adds A Fresh Element To The New Balance 550

New Balance has heard the cries. Women’s New Balance 550 releases have been sparse from the get-go, but 2023 is shaping up to be the year for women who can’t get enough of the late-80s retro hoops model.

As seen on 2022’s New Balance 550 “Panda”, this variant color-blocking style sees a suede material covering the toe-cap and heel swatch, while the standard smooth white leather appears across the smooth and perforated panels. The billowing slanted-N logo matches the clean tone, bordered by the matching royal blue shade. The midsole leans toward the aged look as an off-white hue paints the entirety of the bottom as well as the external heel counter, with royal hitting the traction at the toe and heel.

This women’s New Balance 550 release will be available online and in-store at partnering brand accounts soon (a firm release date is not likely).
