Jovani Hernandez Baltimore’s YCMC has been offering quality products to its local community since 1949. In August 2022, the shop surprised countless New Balance aficionados by dropping a simple, but clean 990v3. To kickstart February, YCMC and NB are running it back, releasing another exclusive 990v3 inspired by trailblazers.
A departure from last year’s collaboration, the upcoming pair features a number of vibrant tones across its upper and sole unit. Premium hairy suede favors a muted green look, but logos on the side, tongue, and ENCAP cushioning keep things loud. The “Your City, My City” boutique references outdoor silhouettes from its partner’s archives for its next New Balance 990v3, a fitting choice given the sneaker’s inspiration.
The midsole underfoot features speckled detailing along the colorful ENCAP solution. Elsewhere, four different sets of laces are packaged with the collaborative shoe, making customization possible. A twelve-piece apparel and accessories collection will also drop alongside the special NB 990v3, allowing wearers to blaze their own trail.
