Jared Ebanks In tandem with the collaborative aid of Joe Freshgoods, the New Balance 9060 has carved out a sizable following amongst the Boston brand’s futuristic cushioning efforts. With a boastful array of inline propositions closing out 2022, October saw a first look at the silhouette dressed in the 998s crisp “Pool Blue” composition, which has recently been made available in official imagery.
Mirroring the latter silhouette’s clad ensemble with a neutral twist, light blues fill the mesh base layer and the diversely tooled nubuck and suede overlays stretched across the upper. Interjecting a tonal contrast with cream-colored accents along the forefoot and heel tab, further earth-harkened tones touch down along the “Off-White” N logo’s light brown trim. Concluding the oceanic wash through the heel’s semi-translucent clip, a collection of tans and browns coordinate amongst the Abzorb cushioned sole unit underfoot.
