The Coveted Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX “Khaki” Is Back

The Coveted Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX “Khaki” Is Back

The Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX debuted in October 2020, but it continues to be a go-to option for countless hikers. Recently, the silhouette “Khaki” style surfaced in release calendars overseas.

The GORE-TEX protected pair’s return is sure to excite some fans that haven’t wanted to pay over retail on the after-market. A stylish design, tried-and-proven performance, and all-around comfort made the ACG Mountain Fly a beloved option when it first released, and the mix is sure to help the shoe sell out on re-release.

The decision to re-issue a fairly novel model isn’t common, but it may speak to both Nike’s overstock issues and attention to customer demands. Furthermore, Nike ACG‘s follow-up designs haven’t seen the same fanfare. Developed in part by Nathan Vanhook, who helped with the Salehe Bembury x Moncler Trailgrip collaboration, the ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX has seen success on and off the trails. Nike React foam enables all-day comfort while the sleek upper allows for use in the city.

Enjoy images of the pair ahead, courtesy of Asphaltgold, and find the shoes oversees on Feb. 6; a stateside re-release is unknown.

In related footwear news, the NikeCraft General Purpose Shoe “Field Brown” is rumored to launch in February.
