Alongside love filling the air around us and under our feet this Valentine’s Day, the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape is coordinating a vibrant “Mardi Gras” ensemble.
While devoid of any specific imagery denoting the colorful occasion set to take place in a few weeks, the recycled pair’s vibrant color blocking is reminiscent of the New Orleans festivities all the same. Employing the silhouette’s typically diverse tooling, a cream-treated twill fabric rounds the full-length overlay while its presiding color-matched base layer indulges in a burlap textile. Elsewhere, crisp white laces illuminate the upper in tandem with its semi-translucent lime-colored quarter overlays and vibrant violet Swoosh. Infusing a touch of yellow at opposite ends of the vamp and heel counter, two different shades of mint coat the suede and rubberized mid-foot panels while a sample of lavender outfits the recycled sole unit underfoot.
