Elevated sole units affixed to the Air Jordan 1 Low have seemingly taken a back seat to the pair’s typical low-to-the-ground construction since the start of the new year. However, the Beaverton brand isn’t completely finished with the fashion-forward aesthetic with the Air Jordan 1 Elevate dressing in an homage to Utah’s diverse geography.
Taking inspiration from The Great Salt Lake Desert’s elevation sitting 4,250 feet above sea level, crisp white leathers mimic snow-dusted hills while pairing with the suede-treated overlays “Sanddrift” outfit taking cues from a winter desert landscape. Filling its mid-foot Swooshes and outsole with a sky-harkened “Baltic Blue”, the encapsulated Air-Sole unit underfoot receives a clad wash of cream whereas its bright white collar indulges in a polar fleece textile in conclusion.
