A Winterized Air Jordan 8 “Gunsmoke” Is Expected To Release Holiday 2023

A Winterized Air Jordan 8 “Gunsmoke” Is Expected To Release Holiday 2023

Over the last two decades, Brand Jordan has applied its basketball heritage to lifestyle products. Along the way, the Jumpman family has winterized silhouettes like the Air Jordan 8 to perform in the roughest conditions, not just the hardwood.

Ahead of spring, rumors have surfaced about the modified-for-the-cold Air Jordan expected in a new “Gunsmoke” style for the holiday season. The pair is expected to feature a mostly “Black” finish across its upper and sole unit. Details around the heel, as well as the chenille logo on the tongue, will likely don the titular dark grey color; traction zones are likely to follow.

Other winterized retros have included the Air Jordan 4 and 14. These styles have included water-resistant nubuck and seamless uppers for protection against the elements. The Jordan 8 Winterized “Gunsmoke” will likely borrow these design elements, which complement the sneaker’s inner bootie and tall trim. Altogether, the shoe will help expand Michael Jordan’s legacy off-the-court as have other modified versions of the Air Jordan line.

No firm nike.com launch details have yet been disclosed by the brand. In the meantime, enjoy a speculative mock-up of the sneaker here.
