Kiko Kostadinov And ASICS Pick Up Where They Left Off With The GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA

Back in 2020 — upon the introduction of their Sportstyle line-up — Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS revealed that their collaborative, co-branded relationship would officially be coming to an end. Kostadinov would continue to work closely with the brand in the years that followed, however, lending his name and expertise to partnerships with both Brain Dead as well as Hysteric Glamour.

Little did we know that Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS would eventually pick back up where they left off, doing so with a brand new model: the GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA.

Built atop the Bulgarian designer’s very own tooling, the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA has been several months in the making, teased numerous times in the past by Kostadinov himself. In design, the model feels very reminiscent of the LEVITRACK even beyond the sole unit, with the eye stays and logo placement channelling much of the same DNA. The base, though, is ostensibly made much more breathable, with an open-knit mesh inserting itself from the toe box through the profile.

Cosigned by the ASICS Institute of Sport Science — and clad in the very same colors as said team’s uniform — the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS GEL-QUANTUM ZIENTZIA is seeing a preview release on Feb. 28th through the Kiko Kostadinov webstore.
