The Nike Air Ship “Pine Green” Releases At Select Retailers In March

The Nike Air Ship “Pine Green” Releases At Select Retailers In March

As Michael Jordan’s original rookie year silhouette, the Nike Air Ship is an important part of the player and brand’s histories.

Over the last few years, the Air Jordan 1-predecesor has enjoyed some time in the spotlight, launching in original and new styles. Ahead of spring, the leather basketball sneaker from the 1980s appeared in a “White” and “Pine Green” color combination. First teased via Instagram user @hidden.ny in July 2022, the two-tone style has been confirmed as a special, but in-line retro from the Swoosh – not a collaboration. The bulk of the sneaker enjoys a simple “colorless” finish, while branding on the tongue and sides, panels around the collar, and outsoles favor rich green flair.

Stateside Nike SNKRS launch details are still unknown. Select shops overseas, however, are dropping the pair on March 1.
