Amid 25th Anniversary, The Nike Air Max Plus Appears With New White/Red Gradient

The Nike Air Max Plus is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the Swoosh has prepped Sean McDowell’s iconic design in a slew of new styles.

Recently, the original Tuned Air offering appeared in a new white and red outfit. The majority of the breathable mesh upper enjoys a “colorless” finish while ruby-colored flair lands from the tip of the toe to just underneath the tongue label. Lace loops and outlines of the profile swooshes follow suit. Elsewhere, Air Max units at the forefoot take on a clear makeup, whereas nearby shanks feature a black and red gradient. Running-informed outsoles round out the latest take on McDowell’s 25-year-old creation with their mostly red arrangement.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead. A nike.com launch is likely to take place by summer.
