Jared Ebanks Presiding in a realm of near-exclusive collaborations, the adidas Campus has been drummed up by a myriad of high fashion influences over the past few seasons. After championing the return of the adidas Adimatic in late 2022, both Bodega and Beams have been tapped once again to cast their international influence across the both iconic silhouettes.
Infusing Bodega’s US influence of art and counterculture with Beams’ established high-end aesthetic, a hairy grey suede envelops the upper while coming illuminated by golden foil branding attributed to the tongue, heel and Campus lettering before rendering a color match along the tongue’s brushed interior. Casting “Core White” shades across the midfoot 3-Stripes and matching sole unit underfoot, dark chocolate browns begin to anchor the laces and embossed heel counter whereas a regal choice of “Collegiate Green” fills the leather sock liner in conclusion.
While the latter undergoes a uniquely textured effort, the revitalized Adimatic explores a tried-and-true nubuck upper treated in soft “Off-White” hues with the 1996 tooling expressing vibrant green shades along its enlarged 3-Stripes and a staple gum tread underfoot.
