The PUMA Stewie 1 Honors Breanna Stewart’s Four-Straight UConn Championships

The PUMA Stewie 1 Honors Breanna Stewart’s Four-Straight UConn Championships

When we think of the most dominant women to ever play the game of basketball at the collegiate level, Maya Moore, Cheryl Miller, Sylvia Fowles and many others instantly come to mind. Securing four-straight NCAA Championships for the UConn Huskies, however, will immediately skyrocket one into the aforementioned conversation as the next PUMA Stewie 1 now pays tribute to Breanna Stewart’s overtly dominant four years in Storrs.

Departing for the WNBA in 2016, Stewart left the East Coast campus as the program’s most decorated winner as a three-time National Player of the Year and a record-setting four-time Most Outstanding Player at the Final Four. In commemoration, the years of the four-straight championship seasons are listed along the medial side of the left tongue in tandem with the right’s four-fingered motif and “4X” logo. Casting ever-so-light grey hues across its base layer, the Huskies’ synonymous red and navy accents line the mid-foot form strip and sculpted heel counter before sky-blue shades envelop the logos affixed to the tongue.

Scheduled to release this coming Friday, March 17th for a retail price of $120, in the meantime enjoy official images of the PUMA Stewie 1 “Four Time” below.

In other news, waterproof panels now coat the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Orange Citrus”.
