Since the start of the new year, the Nike Dunk Low has made it crystal clear that its 2019 revitalization was merely a reintroduction, having since dressed the Peter Moore design in a myriad of color blockings and various toolings expanded from its clad-leather construction. Resuming the model’s recent fraternization with corduroy, a lively “Coconut Milk” splashes onto one of the Swooshes’ most clamored-over silhouettes.
Drawing ties to a number of past constructions, flavors of premium aesthetics shine through the crisp white canvas that envelops the vamp, quarter, heel and tongue. Deriving its modified heel and tongues “nike” logos from the women’s-exclusive Air Max 1 “Denim” that surfaced in first looks a few weeks ago, the latest inline collection from the Beaverton brand sees the Dunk Low’s flat leather overlays, laces, sock liner and tumbled mid-foot Swoosh assume a supple “Coconut Milk” neutral contrast. Complimenting the latter underlays with a classic white/black sole unit, the simplistic ensemble receives an injection of “Hot Punch” which invigorates the insoles and heel’s branded embellishments for a seldom yet expressive conclusion.
No release date information has been shared just yet, so in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Nike Dunk Low “Coconut Milk” below.
