Jared Ebanks Following The Swooshes’ return to the famed “Big Bubble” that accompanied the original tooling of the Nike Air Max 1 from 1986, the iconic Tinker Hatfield silhouette has since run rampant after Air Max Day in late March. While the enlarged treatment cast across the sole unit has a few more options tucked away in its Air cassettes, the latter color blocking has since been rendered in “Mica Green” accents for its latest inline arrival tomorrow.
Originally previewed back in February, the OG reminiscent ensemble looks to the model’s synonymous anchoring of grey suedes to envelop the mid-foot panel, vamp and heel while complimented by an equally dominant collection of crisp white mesh. Dipping the mudguard, Swoosh, eyelets and Nike branding in a faded “Mica Green”, elsewhere the underlying fixtures of the sole unit associate in a closing monochromatic finish through a clad white midsole and pitch-dark tread.
Scheduled to release this coming Friday, April 14th, for a retail price of $150 in adult sizing, in the meantime enjoy one last look at the Nike Air Max 1 “Mica Green” below alongside our accompanying store list to grab your pair.
