The adidas UltraBOOST revolutionized the running and lifestyle spaces when it debuted in 2015. Amid the technology’s 10th anniversary, the silhouette has been modified for the golf course.
At quick glance, the silhouette features an identical build to the original blueprint, but closer inspection reveals otherwise. Primeknit uppers are accompanied by microfiber-leather panels, with both components donning a water-resistant coat. Yarn in the upper uses at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic and 50% recycled polyester to champion the German company’s sustainability efforts. All three launch styles of the UltraBOOST Golf Shoe feature a plastic heel clip borrowed from the eight-year-old running sneaker. BOOST foam underfoot follows suit, but the rubber outsole features raised nubs for golf-specific traction without requiring traditional spikes. Lastly, a Torsion System helps with stability for every swing.
Enjoy campaign photos of the collection ahead, and find pairs via adidas.com on April 21 for $200 USD each.
