New Balance’s current popularity was built atop countless renditions of the same icons, such as the 550 and the 990 series. And while they have dug into their archive for models the likes of the 2002R and 1906R, the brand has largely overlooked a huge chunk of their catalog. This seems to be changing for the better in 2023, however, as even the 860v2 is receiving a push on both the collaborative and inline front.
After teaming up with Aime Leon Dore for a three-piece collaboration earlier this month, the New Balance 860v2 is now focusing on its roster of GRs. For one of its first inline appearances of the year, the silhouette proffers a predominantly neutral, Y2K-esque look, with silver metallic panels applied throughout the entirety of the shoe. Underneath, the mesh alternates between white and black inserts, the latter of which complements not only the adjacent branding and lining but also the detailing that runs through the overlays and “N” logo.
Enjoy a close-up look at this upcoming 860v2 ahead. A release date has not yet been unveiled, but it’s likely we’ll be seeing these on NewBalance.com and at select retailers before the end of the year.
In other news, the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low Olive will be releasing in only 8 days.
