Jared Ebanks With news circulating of the Air Jordan 4’s “Military Blue” return in Summer 2024, MJ’s fourth signature silhouette has been thrust into the spotlight once again. Very rarely, however, does the Tinker Hatfield design ready a pair unintended for their enormous adult-sized market, as the Air Jordan 4’s latest tooling comes pictured via toddler-sizing.
Eerily reminiscent of the wheat-toned ensemble of the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 “Desert Moss”, a similar earth-based set of browns transitions toward lighter tones. Coating its mudguard in a decadent dark chocolate while the jacquard knit underlay enjoys a mocha finish and the dominant suede upper concludes in a bright tan, a flurry of “Sail” accents illuminate the disparately textured composition. Accompanied by a gum tread underfoot, the tonal neutral effort enjoys a lively teal injection at the nylon collar, quarter overlays and the tongue’s Jumpman insignia.
