Blue Gradients And Chrome Branding Share This Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary in style.

Recently, Sean McDowell’s palm tree-inspired design emerged in a new mix of vibrant blue, stark black, and shimmering chrome colors. The majority of the sneaker’s upper indulges in a sky-reminiscent shade, while the bottom-half is mostly covered in pitch-dark tones. A gradient finish animates the breathable mesh base layer, as well as the whale tail-shaped shank at the mid-foot. The Tuned Air unit underneath the heel introduces a bold blue hue into the mix, which also takes on the Air Max bubbles at the forefoot. Chrome accents appear in the form of profile swooshes and branding on the tongue and sockliner, injecting a futuristic aesthetic into the pair.

No firm nike.com launch date has been disclosed, but the Air Max Plus should drop before summer ends.
