Michael Le Nike’s modern day offerings are constantly imitating the classics of the past. This is likely the case with this upcoming Air Max 97 as well, as its colorway bears a passing resemblance to the much-beloved “Silver Bullet.”
Unlike said OG, however, this Nike Air Max 97 forgoes the iconic red Swoosh. Instead, the embroidered logo is stitched onto the side with blue thread, matching the check atop the tongue as well as the detailing along the outsole and heel. The rest of the colorway, by comparison, feels much more familiar: alongside featuring a white midsole as well as blacked out accents, the pair layers much of its upper in silver.
