And despite delivering more than most in the past few months — from Tor Los and His with HOKA to a pack of Chukkas with Vault by Vans — the retailer clearly has no plans of slowing down, revealing what seems to be an upcoming project with New Balance.
Bodega and New Balance have a partnership that dates back a number of years. The two have come together on a consistent, annual cadence, establishing a tradition based entirely on collaborative sneakers. For 2023, it appears they’ll be setting their sights on the 610, a model that only recently returned to the shelves. Here, the pair is dressed in a colorway aesthetically characteristic of the boutique, one rife with blue and purple tones. Shades of black and grey are overlaid atop and adjacent for tonal balance, while seldom hits of orange pop 1 the heel as well as the lace unit.
