Established back in 2014, Air Max Day is nearing close to its 10th Anniversary. And as rumor has it, Nike will be celebrating the occasion with a sequel to the Air Max 1 that effectively started it all.
Paralleling the origins of the line-up itself, Nike began Air Max Day with the Air Max 1, delivering the Tinker Hatfield design in the aptly-named “3.26” colorway. With the exception of its holiday-specific branding and Volt-colored midsole, the pair was the spitting image of the silhouette’s OG release.
Fast forward almost ten years later and the Air Max 1 “3.26” is reportedly set to return, albeit this time in “Royal.” While no images of the shoe of have yet to surface, it’s very likely the colorway will echo the look of its above-mentioned predecessor. Along its upper, the pair will stay faithful to the original scheme, only deviating with its Volt midsole.
