Over the last two decades, the Nike Air Max 90 has cemented itself as a staple within the casual sneaker space.

Ahead of summer, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic silhouette has emerged in a kid’s-exclusive makeup featuring detachable patches. A spring-friendly color palette takes over the 33-year-old design, with the boldest tones animating TPU components across the shoe. A muted mix of grey and black appear throughout most of the upper, with Velcro mudguards deviating in a light tan hue. Skateboard, mushroom, and other patches find a home on this section of the Air Max sneaker, injecting a playfulness into the offering. Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit keeps most things simple, but the ribbed cassette around the visible Air bubble opts for a cool mint color.

No firm nike.com launch details have been announced, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
