Michael Le Teased numerous times over the course of the past few months, the Air Jordan 14 “Laney” is finally nearing its release. And in anticipation of the drop, the Jumpman has finally unveiled official images of the shoe.
Jordan Brand is effectively recreating history with the upcoming Air Jordan 14 “Laney,” echoing a colorway that originally released back in 1999. And save for its taller, mid-top construction, the pair is near identical to its older, low-top counterpart, featuring the signature colors of Laney High School. “Varsity Royal” is used across much of the nubuck construction, contrasting the blacked-out panels and fixtures that dress the toe, lace unit, and outsole. Touches of yellow, then, round out the homage to MJ’s alma mater, highlighting not only the embroidered Jumpman at the vamp but also several of the adjacent branded fixtures.
The Air Jordan 14 “Laney” is scheduled to release on May 27th, hitting select retailers as well as Nike SNKRS. As we await its release, enjoy a detailed look at the shoe via the official images below.
