Zion Williamson has had it rough these past few months, as the athlete was sidelined for the better part of the season. And though similarly absent over the course of the year thus far, the Jordan Zion 2 is finally seeing a brand new, “Celestial Gold” colorway.
Arriving right in time for the Summer, this latest Jordan Zion 2 is sunny in its disposition. Both “Celestial Gold” and “Topaz Gold” are used all across the upper, alternating along its suede and canvas construction. Said tones also highlight the darning throughout the shoe, from the sashiko-style mending at the profile to the haphazard stitching atop the collar. What’s more, the heel’s usual Jumpman logos are replaced with a circular patch that’s ostensibly inspired by the moon’s phases.
Enjoy a closer look at the Jordan Zion 2 “Celestial Gold” via the official images ahead. No firm release date has surfaced just yet, but it’s likely we’ll learn more very soon.
In other news, an early look at the 2023 Nike Dunk Low Be True has surfaced.
