Though recently superseded by the Vapormax 2023 Flyknit, the Vapormax Plus still clearly has a place on Nike’s shelves. While we’ve only seen a few colorways this year thus far, more are finally beginning to surface, such as this newly-revealed, Burgundy-colored style.
The Nike Vapormax Plus “Burgundy,” which is dressed almost entirely in a dark red finish, is heavily reminiscent of a fine red wine. From the synthetic materials of its upper to the translucent tint of its bubbled sole, many parts of the shoe conjure to mind images of the alcoholic beverage. Even the gloss of the TPU cage is akin to the finer things, as it’s not unlike the glass bottles that encase the most expensive of vintages.
Enjoy a closer, official look at the Nike Vapormax Plus “Burgundy” ahead. While a release date has not yet been revealed, it shouldn’t be long before we see these on Nike.com and at select retailers.
