Being one of the biggest brands on the planet, Nike boasts operations in almost every corner of the world — Australia being no exception. And while they’ve claimed a few icons as their own, rarely has the country received their very own collection of sneakers. That all changes in 2023, however, as the Swoosh is celebrating their friends down under with not just the Air Max 90 but also the Dunk Low.
Unlike its above-mentioned counterpart, the Nike Dunk Low “Australia” is near entirely devoid of “Pistachio Green.” Said hue only highlights the insoles as well as the branding along the tongue and heel. The rest of the upper instead opts for a more natural, earth-toned finish, with different shades of tan applied to the distressed leathers along the toe, eye stays, and heel. Even lighter neutrals mark the midsole and Swoosh, which complement the whites that round out the pair’s construction. Finally, many a nod to the country is layered atop: in addition to the heel’s debossed logo, “AU” is written on the front as well the inside of the shoe.

In other news, the draw for the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Onyx closes on May 31st.
