The Jump, Run and Cut Series has become the new general release lineup for The Swooshes basketball department. Alongside an extensive range of colorways, the Zoom GT Cut 2 specifically has been tapped on a number of occasions for inclusion within the Beaverton brand’s inline collections.

Recently the stacked Zoom Air effort was revealed in previewed imagery featuring the potential beginnings of yet another expansive troupe of connective color blockings. Executed atop a monochrome base, crisp white hues envelop the lightweight upper while contrasting jet-black shades surround the heel clip, laces and burned finish applied to the mid-foot Swooshes and perforated heel tabs. Aside from the shadow grey tongue and partially recycled midsole, the palette shifts to a more titular tone as oranges inject a lively personality within the sole unit and lace loops while a striking violet curtails the heel and lime green fills the appearance of an all-new X-marked insignia.

Release date information has yet to be shared, so in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Nike Zoom GT Cut 2 “Orange/Purple” below.

For more on-court toolings from underneath the Nike Inc. banner, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Triple White” is releasing on Mamba Day, August 24th.
