The New Balance 580 Adds A Bit More Black To Its Wardrobe

Unlike several of their peers, New Balance doesn’t seem quite as excited about Summer, preferring neutrals over bright, season-appropriate colors. And this is evident beyond their recent slate of 550s, as even the 580 is bolstering its wardrobe with additional black and white styles.

This newly-revealed New Balance 580, which just hit the shelves of retailers in the EU, helps make a stronger case for the above. Near entirely devoid of pastels and the similarly colorful, the pair is predominantly dressed in black suede and mesh. Adjacent accents — such as the “N” logo, laces, and outsole — are done up in much the same shade, further contrasting the seldom hits of white and grey that mark the branding and trims.

Enjoy a closer look at this New Balance 580 via the retailer imagery shared ahead. These are available for purchase right now via the links below.

In other news, we’re a little over one week out from the release of the Air Jordan 1 Washed Black.
