First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy”

First Look At The Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy”

Alongside MJ’s second signature silhouette, the Air Jordan 5 has been strategically positioned for an expansive revitalization over the past few years. From forthcoming collaborative efforts with A Ma Manieré to a slew of general release colorways, the fighter jet-inspired model is returning to a familiar navy treatment come this holiday season.

Eerily reminiscent of the women’s exclusive suede-treated Air Jordan 11 from last November, the aforementioned “Midnight Navy” scheme cures its own dominant amount of real estate atop the AJ 5’s texture-matched upper. While previous mock-ups predicted a jet-black midsole, an updated look instead reveals a crisp white outfit while charcoal black contrasts dress the eye stays, lace toggle and the duo of embroidered Jumpman insignias. Finished by way of an icy blue translucent tread, the dark blue color blocking retains its connection to Georgetown University as grey hues envelop the mid-foot window in closing.

Scheduled to release on November 10th for a retail price of $210, in the meantime enjoy a preview at the Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” below.

For more upcoming offerings from underneath the Jumpman banner, a golf-ready Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low recently surfaced.
