Jared Ebanks Having been in partnership together since 1998, skateboard legend Mark Gonzales and adidas have collaborated on a slew of skate-ready offerings throughout the two entities’ 20-year-plus relationship.
Launched in 2020, the collaborative “Shmoofoil” collection now adds an all-new slip-on construction to the fold in a duo of “Mgh Solid Grey” and “Core Black” colorways. Boasting a vulcanized rubber sole unit for superior board grip and durability, the Vulc Raid3r reminiscent upper dawns a dominant suede tooling infused with canvas quarters for added comfort. Jet-black contrasts appear on the greyscale pair at the foxing and vamp’s Shmoofoil insignia while “Chalk White” fills in the quarter, inner lining and outsole underfoot. In opposition, the pitch-dark ensemble enjoys a two-toned treatment with “Core White” contrasts filling the contemporary embellishments.
