Bugs Bunny Likely Inspired The Upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Rabbit”

Michael Jordan made no shortage of friends throughout his illustrious career. None, however, were quite as prolific as Bugs Bunny, who accompanied the legendary athlete for numerous campaigns as well as his debut on the big screen in Space Jam. And despite having drifted apart long ago, the two’s friendship continues to live on thanks most in part to the efforts of Jordan Brand.

The Jumpman’s latest homage to the Looney Tunes icon comes in the form of yet another: the Air Jordan 1 Low. Appropriately dubbed “Rabbit,” the pair likens its embroidered Swoosh to Bugs Bunny’s food of choice. And in addition to its bright orange threads, the check ends in a green frond, furthering the logo’s resemblance to a carrot. Elsewhere, the construction seems to draw more direct inspiration from the character himself, as it resembles his design with its furry grey overlays and white leather unders.

Enjoy a closer look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Rabbit” — which is likely releasing exclusively in kids’ sizes — via the official images ahead. These should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon, with a firm date likely to be revealed within the next few months.

In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG Black Cement surfaced earlier this morning.
