The New Balance 550 Surfaces In “Terracotta” Orange Accents

Steeped in on-court allure, the New Balance 550 has returned from the archives as a modern-day staple for the Boston-based brand. Straight from the mind of the Dad Shoe architect, the Steven Smith design now prepares summer-ready “Terracotta” accents.

While muted palettes have routinely invigorated the Basketball Oxford as of late, the upcoming ensemble acts in direct opposition as the dominant crisp white build comes illuminated by an onslaught of red-orange hues. Executed across the various branded embellishments and trim of the perforated overlays, the mars clay-like shade further consumes the collar lining, tongue tab and tread underfoot. Elsewhere, the model prepares light grey hits along the suede-treated mudguard and seldom heel panel in conclusion.

While release date information has yet to be revealed, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the New Balance 550 “Terracotta” below.
