adidas Brings Lavender Accents To This Grayscale Response CL

A relic of the early aughts, the adidas Response CL has held its own ground amongst other “dad shoes.”

Recently, the old school running silhouette emerged in a grey, lavender, and off white color scheme. The bulk of the upper – which consists of suede, mesh, leather, and plastic – opts for a grayscale arrangement. Hits of purple enter the mix via the 3-Stripes hits at the sides, as well as logos on the top of the tongue. Details across the midsole also don a touch of purple, but the majority of the sole unit keeps things simple. A slew of stability and grip-related technologies across the sole unit receive an understated finish that taps into the “Neo-vintage” trend like so many other retro running models.
