Ever since the return of the Nike Air Max 1 in its original Big Bubble tooling for The Swooshes’ Air Max Day, the Tinker Hatfield design has enjoyed a revitalized slate of general release color blockings, such as this upcoming lively aquatone ensemble.

Exercising a staple balance of white mesh and light grey overlays that have iconized the silhouette for well over 35 years, the 1986 reminiscent color blocking receives a contemporary infusion of bright teal hues. Curing the tumbled leather mid-foot Swoosh and full-length overlay for a striking summer ensemble, further “Clear Jade” accents appear along the eye stays, the tip of the tread and the various Air Max logos placed at the tongue tab, heel counter and insoles.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Clear Jade” is currently scheduled to release on July 21st for a retail price of $150. In the meantime, enjoy an official look at the pair below.
