After delivering a four-piece of patent leather clad Air Force 1s in late 2022, UNDEFEATED is ready to move its next chess piece in the sneaker world with their forthcoming project that just surfaced at Paris Fashion Week.
Reintroduced with a bang earlier this year via a collaborative endeavor with Hiroshi Fujiwara and his Fragment Design imprint, the classic Converse Weapon silhouette from 1986 is ready to stake its claim in the 80s hoops shoe market. Seen here for the first time via brand owner Eric Peng Cheng, the UNDEFEATED x Converse Weapon is revealed in a clean white and khaki tan colorway, with the instantly recognizable five-strike logo on the tongue logo and pressed into the leather at the heel. The italicized type treatment on the ankle collars read the brand name and their “Play Dirty” slogan.
UNDEFEATED is, however, quite familiar with the Weapon. In the 2010s, they were among the select shops that collaborated with Converse for the Poorman Weapon, a hybrid silo that featured the high-top upper above a Chuck Taylor sole.
Official release details have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for updates.
Updated: A second colorway in white/olive has also surfaced.
