New Balance Adds “Sage” Accents To Its Latest 650 Offering

New Balance Adds “Sage” Accents To Its Latest 650 Offering

The New Balance 650 was long a relic of the past, but Teddy Santis helped revitalize it for the modern era.

Ahead of summer’s peak, the Steven Smith-designed silhouette has emerged in a new “Sea Salt”-covered offering. Instead of bright pastels, however, the pair has indulged in muted “Sage” hues. Leather and suede divvy up the New Balance sneaker’s top-half, covering everything from forefoot to lower heel. The collar area, however, deviates in a green-colored mesh that matches branding hits throughout the upper. Profile “N” logos introduce a cream tone that also lands on the outsole underfoot, but doesn’t detract from the distinctly “Sage” ensemble. Lastly, the old school midsole solution keeps things simple in off white, allowing for every other component mentioned to revel in the spotlight.

Enjoy detailed photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a newbalance.com launch soon.

In related sneaker news, the New Balance 990v6 continues to expand its roster of styles.
