Slip-on, foam-based footwear has exploded in popularity over the last three years. And while some ubiquitous styles continue to dominate the market, brands haven’t stopped introducing new offerings to the market. Case in point?: The adidas adiFOM ClimaCool.
Based on breathability-focused technology developed in the year 2002, the latest adiFOM design features a two-part construction. Comparisons to the iconic Yeezy Foam Runner have been made by netizens, and understandably so. The perforated shell that envelops ClimaCool “guts” delivers more support and protection without sacrificing breathability. The pair’s latest “Crystal White” ensemble keeps things simple and summer-friendly. While not the most robust in terms of design components, the adiFOM ClimaCool speaks to the Three Stripes’ future, which includes experimental footwear.
Enjoy retailer photography of the adidas pair ahead, and expect an adidas.com launch soon. The “Crystal White” adiFOM ClimaCool will release tomorrow, July 1st at select shops for $120 USD.
