Returning to her highly-divisive take on Nike’s iconic Shox basketball silhouette, the Martine Rose x Nike Shox Mule MR 4 returns with a titular resurgence.
Expanding her upcoming unisex football collection, the repurposed silhouette engages in off-the-plane to on-the-pitch levels of versatility. As such, the forefoot has been elongated to mirror a streamlined lifestyle aesthetic while the Shox pucks at the heel have risen the back half of the model significantly to ensure a slip-on construction. In a similar vein to its “Scuba Blue” counterpart, a lively gradient envelops the upper, concentrating on “Safety Orange” at the toe while the mid-foot and heel exercise a neon highlighter grandeur. Jet-black contrasts then engage the entirety of the sole unit underfoot while spreading clarifying pitch-dark hits along the bulbous Swoosh and lace loops.
