Jared Ebanks An instant classic across the pond, the Nike Air Max Plus has recently engaged in clad-colored uppers for a monochrome aesthetic this summer. Recently, however, the Sean McDowell design returned to its lively gradient-infused ensemble set forth by a “Reverse Grape” aesthetic.
Similar to March’s plum and yellow accented effort, the latest proposition centralizes its grape juice hue along the trim of the black tumbled leather overlay before exercising a lightened transition up along the vamp and tongue. Further pitch-dark contrasts encase the upper in shiny TPU overlays in tandem with the laces and nylon collar lining providing further clarity to the faded tones above. The midsole enacts a quick illumination with its crisp white build whereas a seldom assortment of aqua tone shades fill the full-length Air Max bubbles, tongue tab and trim of the mid-foot Swooshes.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Air Max Plus “Reverse Grape” below as we await further release details in the meantime.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Air Jordan 12 “Brilliant Orange” is scheduled to release on July 13th.
