Plum-Colored Canvas Covers The New Balance 550

Plum-Colored Canvas Covers The New Balance 550

Following its construction in a decadent “Olive Suede”, the New Balance 550 is simultaneously exploring textiles further removed from its synonymous leather build. Recently, the Basketball Oxford dressed in a clad-canvas composition dipped in dark “Plum” hues.

From its vamp to the heel counter and tongue construction, the entirety of the upper assumes an exclusive canvas construction. Even the bulbous mid-foot N logos receive a messy brushed finish further indulging in the unassuming tooling. Faint purple shades consume the upper with a similar feverishness, anchoring the laces, collar lining and rubber heel clip in the color-matched “Plum” tint while jet-black contrasts illuminate the pair’s branded embellishments. Underfoot, the silhouette cleans up with a staple white midsole and classic gum tread.

Enjoy a detailed look at the New Balance 550 “Plum Canvas” below as we await further release details.

In other news, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE GS recently received a sky-infused gradient for the summer.
