Over the last few months, ASICS has placed a lot of energy behind the GT-2160, a performing running model from the 2010s.
In the same span of time, the Japanese institution has tapped creative partners to add their spins on other GEL-cushioned models from its catalog. One such collaborator has been Ronnie Fieg and his Kith imprint, which is the latest home of two exclusive ASICS GT-2160 styles. As is the case with so many performance running models from yesteryear, the aforementioned design is laden with silver accents atop a porous, muted mesh base. Yellow and dark green animate branding and other supporting accents on both pairs. The technical sole units bring some of the upper’s flair underfoot, but the majority of the midsole and traction solution is left to revel in an off white and grey mix.
Enjoy closer looks of the pairs ahead, and head in to a Kith store in the U.S. and Tokyo to shop the exclusive ASICS sneakers.
