The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Boasts A Classic “Chicago” Look

The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Boasts A Classic “Chicago” Look

It wasn’t until the current year that the Nu Retro 1 saw that new new. Originally dropping back in 2003, Jordan Brand went ham with the Nu Retro 1 for its 20th Anniversary, bringing iconic modern colorways like “Court Purple”, “Mocha”, and even “Taxi” to this off-the-wall release from two decades ago.

For its next trick, Jordan is re-centering the silhouette by offering the classic “Chicago” colorway in this low-top lifestyle silhouette. Not to be confused with the original red/black/white colorway, this Nu Retro 1 utilizes that recognizable white/red toe-box in place of the black-on-red seen in the OG. The tongue and rear heel gets cleaned up with white as well, while the outsole retains that red rubber with the minor translucent segment. In short, if the Nu Retro 1 is your vibe, then these should be a no-brainer cop.

Expect a release on Nike.com soon for $110; see the official images ahead.

If you do love a Low-top, but prefer the stay within the chief Air Jordan legacy models, look no further than the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Toe” dropping in August.
