Jared Ebanks Since 2015 the entity known as Ye has released dozens of heavy-duty military-inspired boots under his YEEZY banner. With the remaining units of his collaborative product continuing to be unloaded from the archives, the Yeezy 500 Tactical Boot has surfaced as an upcoming Fall release.
Achieving a silo-like, elongated ankle collar, the silhouette’s combat detailing is hinted at through the boot’s tonal tan treatment and high-rising entry point. Ribbed panels work their way down from the heavily padded ankle collar while the adi-PRENE midsole begins to introduce elements from the Yeezy 500 in tandem with the curved overlays that surround the forefoot and heel in a stifling suede. Fusing the latter embellishments using a ballistic mesh underlay, the firestarter oval laces achieve a snug and secure fit for the circa 2019 development.
