“Midnight Navy” And “Pale Ivory” Panels Cover This Nike Air Max 1

The Nike Air Max 1 continues to appear in new styles.

Months removed from its 35th anniversary, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design has taken on handfuls of compelling ensembles for old and new fans alike. Pairs donning original big Air Max bubbles have been scarce, but the sneaker has been experimenting with refreshing materials and color-blocking. Recently, the pioneering silhouette from 1987 emerged in a fall-friendly mix of “Pale Ivory,” “Aura,” and “Midnight Navy” tones, bringing another lifestyle look to the shoe. Denim-like panels cover everything from the toe box to the upper heel sections, while shades of orange and beige cover tongues and mudguards, respectively. Underfoot, the Air Max 1‘s revolutionary sole unit favor an “aged” aesthetic that’s complimented by “Midnight Navy” traction that accentuates parts of the upper.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch before winter.
