Several of the most notable fashion labels of the last few years were born right in the heart of South Korea. ADER ERROR, for example, has done well to display the country’s talents, proffering noteworthy partnerships with giants the likes of Zara, PUMA, and, most recently, Converse.
Following a limited release earlier in the year, ADER ERROR and Converse are now reuniting to bring their Chuck 70 collaboration to a global audience. Comprised of both a low-top and high-top style, the footwear portion of the capsule sees said iconic silhouette dressed similar to a more well-worn pair, visually channeling the brand’s design philosophy: “but near missed things.”
The ADER ERROR x Converse Chuck 70 High takes this approach to the extreme, boasting not only distressed detailing and torn canvas but also multiple instances of darning and graphic vandalism. Its shorter counterpart, by comparison, is many degrees more tame: while this model, too, is splashed with paint along its sole, much of the “Imperial Blue” upper is left largely untouched.
Enjoy a closer, official look at ADER ERROR’s interpretation of the Converse Chuck 70 ahead. Both are slated to be available on Converse.com and surely select retailers on August 1st.
In unrelated news, official images of the AMBUSH Nike Air More Uptempo Low Limestone surfaced earlier this week.
