The New Balance 580 has been on a retro run over the last year.

Recently, the once-Japan-exclusive proposition has emerged in a mix of grey, purple, and aqua colors. Suede, mesh, leather, and plastic components across the sneaker’s upper primarily indulge in a grayscale finish, although supporting accents favor bolder, spring-friendly flair. The sole unit underfoot opts for a muted color palette that falls in line with New Balance’s heritage look, although Rollbar stability fixtures bring some of the upper’s vibrant purple contrast below.
