As the Beaverton brand’s latest signee from the entertainment industry, Billie Eilish has quickly asserted a number of baggy-sized clothing options and disparately paneled silhouettes throughout her burgeoning collection with The Swoosh. From patchwork Air Force 1s to matching oversized sweatsuits, the seven-time Grammy winner is now helping bring about the return of the Nike Air Alpha Force 88.

On the last days of 2022, it was initially announced that the hallowed late 80s silhouette was returning in the famed Bulls-esque colorway that Michael Jordan donned on a January night in ’88 against the New York Knicks. This pair as well as a “Black/White” colorway will serve as the base for Billie Eilish’s latest collaboration, with her logos landing in seldom along the insoles. Proffering the Charles Barkley-endorsed efforts staple forefoot strap, Force tongue branding, and ribbed fabric collar, the model’s return after 35 years features a complete lack of aged aesthetics, while vibrant “University Red” and “Black” emanate from the mid-foot Swoosh and tread of their respective styles.
