Jovani Hernandez The Air Jordan 1 Mid has launched in countless color schemes over the last handful of years. Recently, the iconic basketball sneaker’s lifestyle trim appeared in a fall-friendly “Black,” “Sky J Orange,” and “Sky J Mauve” ensemble.
The bulk of the retro indulges in a pitch-dark finish that allows for the slightest contrast to revel in the spotlight. Base layers visible at the toe and collar areas deviate in a muted purple tone that falls in line with other recent Air Jordan offerings. Laces follow suit, but branding hits on the tongue label, ankle flap, and profiles introduce citrus flair that further expands the silhouette’s roster of fashion-forward looks. Underfoot, the midsole opts for a clean “White” makeup that not only allows for the upper to shine, but also the “Sky J Mauve” that appears via the outsole.
